Contact Lenses

There are many different types of contact lenses to choose from. As part of the fitting process, our Optometrist will assist you in finding a lens that is suitable for your prescription and lifestyle needs

• Daily Disposable lenses; start from £22 for a months supply. These give you the ultimate flexibility, as you wear them for a day then throw them away.
• Two-weekly lenses; start from £18 for a month’s supply (including solutions). You can wear them everyday, removing them at night to clean and store, for up to two weeks.
• Monthly disposable lenses; start from £13 for a month’s supply (including solutions). If you plan on wearing them everyday, these lenses can work out the most cost effective. You can wear them everyday, removing them at night to clean and store, for up to one month.
• Multifocal/Varifocal lenses; lenses designed to cope with the need for age-related vision changes, which leads to the need for different prescriptions for different things. These lenses are available both in monthly (Starting at £23 per month) and daily (starting at £38 per month) options.

You will attend the practice for your initial appointment. In this, one of our highly skilled an experienced Opticians will assess your eye health, prescription and discuss your lifestyle needs and budget. From this, you will decide together on the most suitable lens.

A member of our team will show you how to insert and remove your contact lenses, and how to care for them. Once the Optician has checked the fit and vision of your lenses, you can take them home to try, for usually one – two weeks.

You will then be asked to return for a follow up appointment where the Optician will assess how the lenses are after wear, and if you have been happy with the vision and comfort.

All of this is covered under a one-off fitting fee of only £30.
